Former India batter Robin Uthappa said he didn't have much confidence in pacer Akash Deep but was left surprised by his performance at Edgbaston. He added that he felt Akash wouldn't be really effective with old ball. "Getting the ball to wobble as much as he did...takes skill...There was a sense of self-assuredness about Akash when he bowled," Uthappa remarked.
