Ex-India batter Mohammad Kaif said he doesn't understand why Mohammad Shami isn't picked in Indian team, especially in an ODI series where Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are rested. He noted that Shami could've guided Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana in pressure situations in Ranchi ODI. Kaif emphasised that Shami can claim wickets on flat surfaces as well.
