Punjab man Surjit Singh who killed his daughter suspecting affair reportedly admitted to committing the act. “Maine apni beti ko samjhaya tha lekin woh nahi maani, jiske baad mujhe yeh kadam uthana pada (I had explained to my daughter, but she did not listen, after which I took this step),” he told the police.
