A software developer testing Google's Gemini CLI lost files after the AI tool made a mistake. The developer had asked the tool to rename a folder and move its contents to a new one. But the new folder wasn't found and original folder was emptied. Gemini admitted its mistake, saying, "I have failed you completely and catastrophically."
