Veteran performer MM Faruqui, also known as Lilliput, expressed regret over "insulting" Karan Johar for his "feminine gestures" in the 1980s. He recalled, "Karan had a slightly feminine gesture, so I thought, 'He's a kid, if we tell him now, maybe he'll adjust it'. He further added, "It hurt him, and I didn't know that...If we meet sometime, I'll apologise."
