Actor Randeep Hooda, who belongs to Haryana's Jat community, said that he is the first one in his family to have married someone outside of his caste. The actor got married in 2023 to Lin Laishram, who is from Manipur. "Everybody [in my family] had...problem with me getting married to a non-Jat...but that problem gradually went away," Randeep said.
