US President Donald Trump posted a video on TikTok declaring that he saved the video-sharing app. "To all of those young people of TikTok, I saved TikTok, so you owe me big," he said. Trump had signed an executive order paving way for US to finalise TikTok deal with China which would see the app take on new American investors.
