Home Minister Amit Shah, in his address at the 'Aapatkaal Ke 50 Saal' program, said he was 11 years old when the Emergency was imposed in 1975 and that he will never forget that day until he dies. Shah said that from his small village in Gujarat alone, 184 people were sent to jail, describing it as cruel and heartbreaking.
