Mercedes driver George Russell that he would pay to be a World Champion or for a World Championship, adding, "That's the priority for me." He stated that though there were "no updates" regarding renewal of his contract with Mercedes, things were moving "in the right direction". "We'll get things done when time is right...because it's an important thing," Russell added.
