The Indian Air Force (IAF) said that it airlifted multiple organs from a brain-dead patient on Saturday "which became the source of new life for five individuals". One kidney and a cornea were airlifted by an IAF aircraft to the Army Hospital in Delhi, the IAF added while sharing details of the coordinated operation, including photographs on X.
