The IAF on Friday bid farewell to MiG-21 fighter jets after 62 years with a grand farewell ceremony in Chandigarh. MiG-21s of No. 23 Squadron participated in the final flypast ceremony and were given a water cannon salute. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew the last sortie of No. 23 Squadron with the call sign ‘Badal 3’.
