Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew solo sorties in the MiG-21 on Monday from the air base in Rajasthan ahead of the fighter jet's retirement from the IAF next month after six decades of service. The last two squadrons of the MiG-21 are set to retire on September 26. The final ceremony will be conducted at the Chandigarh air base.
