An Indian Air Force Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) made a forced landing near Jaisalmer during a routine training mission due to an engine malfunction. The aircraft landed safely in an empty field, causing no damage to people or property and only minimal damage to the RPA, IAF said. The RPA is an integral part of IAF's reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities.
