Indian Air Force is expected to get three sophisticated indigenous I-STAR spy planes soon to help with precision strikes on enemy ground targets, ANI reported. The proposal for the ₹10,000-crore project may be taken up for clearance at a high-level Defence Ministry meeting in June's fourth week. DRDO has already developed plane's onboard systems while foreign firms would manufacture it.
