In Varanasi, heaps of discarded clothes from Ganga ghats have been transformed into over 1 lakh eco-friendly bags under IAS officer Akshat Verma's initiative with Hope Welfare Foundation. The project not only curbed pollution and replaced plastic but also empowered 50 rural women, converting an environmental menace into a model of sustainability and livelihood.
