ICICI Bank has withdrawn the requirement to maintain minimum monthly average balance (MAB) of ₹50,000 for new accounts opened by metro and urban customers, according to an official release. It has now been revised to ₹15,000. The revision comes after massive backlash from customers, days after the bank raised the MAB requirement from ₹10,000 to ₹50,000.
