Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed Hassan Ali Jamil Atwi, a key Hezbollah air defence figure, in an airstrike in Lebanon's Nabatieh. Atwi led efforts to rebuild and supply Hezbollah's air defence system and coordinated closely with Iranian leaders. The IDF said his death is a significant setback to Hezbollah's military reconstruction and he violated understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
