Activist Manoj Jarange warned that if Marathas are denied quota, they will "make them (ruling parties) bite the dust" in polls. Speaking after ending his five-day hunger strike in Mumbai, he said, "Step by step, I'll ensure that entire Maratha community is included in OBC category." Jarange urged Konkan Marathas to claim benefits and welcomed government steps for OBC welfare.
