The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2025 will honour legendary filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak on his 100th birth anniversary this year. IFFM 2025 will feature Ritwik's landmark films, panel discussions, and academic tributes. IFFM Festival Director Mitu Bhowmik Lange said, Ritwik Ghatak's "cinema dealt with trauma, displacement, and identity with such poetic depth...that it resonates even more today."
