The Indian Gorkha Janshakti Front has expressed interest in joining the emerging ‘One North East’ political platform led by regional leaders including Conrad Sangma and Pradyot Debbarma. IGJF chief Ajoy Edwards said a united front is essential to secure constitutional safeguards, identity protection and fair representation for hill and tribal communities.
