IISER Pune's Professor Pinaki Talukdar has been awarded the prestigious Silver Star Medal by Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha (CRS) for his work in chemical sciences. "Getting recognised for our research is very important. It’s a kind of motivation for us," he said. His recent work involves creating artificial molecular systems that replicate natural protein channels in cells.
