IIT Delhi has implemented a QR-code and biometric attendance system in hostel messes to monitor students' nutrition, BK Panigrahi, Dean of Student Affairs at IIT Delhi, said. He added that this new system will help in case any student falls ill. Prioritising students' mental health, other initiatives have also been launched, which include music therapy, yoga, and meditation, he said.
