IIT Guwahati, in collaboration with Ohio State University, has developed an underwater vibration sensor enabling automated, contactless voice recognition. Designed for individuals with voice disabilities, the sensor detects subtle water waves created by exhaled air during speech attempts, offering a novel communication method without the need for audible sound.
