Chandradeep Pawar, a second-year electrical engineering student at IIT Kharagpur, died on Monday night while trying to swallow medication. His friends and roommates took him to the BC Roy Technology Hospital, where doctors performed CPR but could not save him. Pawar was a native of Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh.
