An illegal mobile manufacturing and IMEI tampering unit has been busted in Delhi's Karol Bagh and 1,826 phones and IMEI tampering software have been seized. The police said the accused were tampering with IMEI to repackage old or stolen phone parts and create new devices that could not be traced. Police arrested five people in the case.
