The Ayush Ministry has said it is illegal to advertise Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy drugs claiming "miraculous or supernatural effects" for the treatment of diseases. It added that such advertisements can "mislead and endanger" public health. The ministry further clarified that it neither certifies nor approves any Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani & Homeopathic (ASU&H) company or its medicines.
