Heavy overnight rain led to severe waterlogging across Mumbai on Monday, disrupting traffic and transport. The Andheri subway, a usually busy route, was shut after it became submerged. The IMD has issued an 'orange' alert for extremely heavy rain in Mumbai and a 'yellow' alert for nearby districts including Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Latur and Beed.
