The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar districts on Sunday, warning of moderate rain. An orange alert, indicating heavier rainfall, has been declared for Raigad. Mumbai recorded 6.80 mm rainfall in the city, 11.53 mm in the eastern suburb, and 7.42 mm in the western suburb on Saturday, BMC reported.
