The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a $350 million package for Sri Lanka after completing the fourth review of the country's $2.9 billion bailout programme. This brings the total IMF financial support disbursed so far to Sri Lanka to around $1.74 billion. IMF had approved Sri Lanka's bailout programme in March 2023 after an economic crisis in the country.
