Reacting to the crash of Air India's London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner near Ahmedabad airport, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, "An immediate clarification on the plane crash incident should come so that apprehensions can be dispelled". He added, "The highest level of rescue, relief, and treatment should be provided." The flight reportedly had 242 passengers onboard.
