Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the unofficial ban of The Bengal Files in West Bengal. They have requested the PM to intervene in the matter. The letter read, "We trust you will take the necessary steps at the earliest to protect the rights of filmmakers and uphold the integrity of the certification process."
