US President Donald Trump on Friday fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General CQ Brown. Announcing his replacement, Trump said he'd nominate former Lieutenant General Dan "Razin" Caine, marking the first time a retired officer has been brought back to serve as the nation's top military officer. A US official said Brown was relieved with immediate effect.
