After an Indian student was handcuffed before being deported from US' Newark Airport, Indian Consulate General in New York said it's in touch with authorities. "Consulate remains ever committed [to]...welfare of Indian Nationals," the Consulate said in a statement. A video of the student had been shared online by an Indian-origin entrepreneur, Kunal Jain, who was at the airport.
