Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Japan’s Minister of Transport Hiromasa Nakano jointly inspected the progress of construction of the Surat stretch of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) bullet train project. Both leaders lauded the high-quality standards maintained at the site and praised the rapid pace of construction. The bullet train will have Japan's E10 high-speed trains.
