India and Sri Lanka are playing the opener of the ODI Women's World Cup 2025 in Guwahati. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first in the opener. A total of four venues will host matches in the tournament across India, including Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and Navi Mumbai. Some of the matches will take place in Colombo.
