India and Israel signed a Bilateral Investment Treaty in New Delhi on Monday. The pact, which would help promote investments between the two nations, was signed by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her Israeli counterpart Bezalel Smotrich. Praising it, Israel's Finance Minister Smotrich said, "India is a growing economic power, and cooperation with it is a tremendous opportunity for Israel."
