India has assured the UK that fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi, wanted in the ₹6,498 crore PNB fraud case, will face only trial if extradited and not be interrogated or detained by any agency. The joint letter from CBI, ED, SFIO, and others also guarantees his stay at Mumbai's Arthur Road jail. The assurance will be submitted before a London court.
