India's foreign exchange reserves crossed $700 billion for the first time after rising for seven straight weeks. The reserves surged by $12.5 billion to end at $704.8 billion in the week ended September 27. India has become the fourth economy in the world to cross $700 billion in reserves after China, Japan and Switzerland, as per Reuters.
