PM Narendra Modi, speaking on National Space Day on Saturday, said, "We have become the fourth country in the world to have the capability of docking and undocking in space." He also praised Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for his historic ISS mission, announced plans for an astronaut pool, and highlighted advances in semi-cryogenic engine and electric propulsion technologies.
