European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen said she spoke with PM Narendra Modi. "We warmly welcome India's continued engagement with (Ukraine's) President Zelenskyy," she said, adding that India has an "important role to play in bringing Russia to end its war...and helping create path towards peace". She said EU is committed to concluding trade negotiations with India by year-end.
