Amid the escalating tensions with Pakistan, India has closed the gates of the Salal Dam on the Chenab river to reportedly cut its flow. Earlier, India had stopped the flow of water through the Baglihar Dam on Chenab river, days after suspending the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan. Visuals show all gates of Salal Dam closed and the dried-up river.
