India has quietly commissioned INS Androth, the Navy’s second Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), in a ceremonial event held at Visakhapatnam on October 6, 2025. With over 80% indigenous content, the advanced vessel strengthens India’s maritime security and anti-submarine warfare capabilities, showcasing the nation’s growing self-reliance in defence technology and innovation.
