Around 3,000 fans attended India's open training session in Adelaide ahead of the pink-ball Test against Australia. The fans reportedly heckled several players and also fat-shamed a cricketer. The BCCI has reportedly now banned fans from attending Team India's open practice sessions for the remainder of the tour. Reports stated that the players were "very disturbed" by the insensitive comments.
