Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is developing a K-6 hypersonic ballistic missile with capabilities surpassing the BrahMos cruise missile, News18 reported. The K-6 missile could be launched through a submarine and would be able to carry both conventional and nuclear warheads. It can reportedly target enemies at a speed of 7.5 Mach (approximately 9,261 kilometres per hour).
