India-England Test series has been named Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy ahead of the five-match series in England. Until now the series played in England was called Pataudi Trophy, while the equivalent in India was called Anthony de Mello Trophy. It's likely the boards felt it was better to have uniformity by both teams playing for same trophy in both countries, ESPNcricinfo said.
