India has ranked 99th with a score of 67 out of 167 countries in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index, according to the Sustainable Development Report 2025. This is the first time India has secured a place among the top 100. Bhutan and Nepal are ranked 74th and 85th, while Bangladesh and Pakistan are ranked 114th and 140th, respectively.
