Speaking at SCO Summit in China, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India exercised its right to defend against terrorism by launching Operation Sindoor "to dismantle cross border terrorist infrastructure". He stated the pattern of Pahalgam attack matches with LeT's previous terror attacks in India. Notably, India launched Operation Sindoor after Pahalgam attack in which 26 people were killed.
