India has 0.8 incubators per million people, much lower than US, UK and China, which have 8-10, a report by IIM Bangalore and IIT Madras said. The report found India has over 1,100 incubators for startups, of which 45% are in South India. Only 8.2% of Indian startups use incubators and just 10% of incubators help 98% of these startups.
