In an episode of Figuring Out, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone, revealed that while India consumes 150 million phones annually, its exports stand at $28–30 billion, a fraction compared to China and Taiwan’s $900 billion. He added that the potential for Indian smartphone manufacturing is massive. The gap isn’t in demand, it’s in infrastructure and vision, he further said.
