A group of 10 nations, including India, China and Russia, opposed efforts by countries to "deploy military infrastructure in Afghanistan" after US President Donald Trump threatened the Taliban regime to hand over the Bagram airbase. The countries participating in the Moscow Format talks said deploying foreign military bases in Afghanistan won't serve the interests of regional peace and stability.
